after that saturday night party, i started to become in touch with my long lost friends again. of course, we were able to talk about a lot of things. things that happened all these years that i am nowehere to be found.
maybe 2 nights ago, i am chatting with one of these guy friends in my past. well, he was asking about married life cos he really wanted to get married, the only problem is, he doesnt have a partner yet. his lines were "ang sarap siguro ng may asawa cos you can get to do it legally." IT meaning the sex thing. well of course, as a girl, its a bullshit. you mean guys would get married just for the sake of doing it legally, or just to satisfy their wildest dream? so i said, maybe you wanted it that way, but why not look at it on our perspective? its every girls dream to walk in the isle and marry the guy shes inlove with and finding out that its just about sex thats wanting one guy to get married would ruin that "dream".
after that conversation, i realized, so.. that must be a guys view but hey, sex really sometimes becomes a responsiblity for us, girls. you know, it is because of the fear of losing the guy we love, tired or not, in the mood or not, its really hard to say no.
well, enough of that crap. lets talk about a different thing though this is also about guys. funny, but recently, guys have become my problem. no violent reactions, but seriously, i have thought of a lot of things lately just because of the stress some guys are causing me.
in terms of courship, some guys may really be so sweet, to the extent that they can make every girl fall inlove head over heels. the sad thing here is, there are SOME who would be that ideal man in the beginning and later will turn into an asshole, a selfish creature. well, the forwaded txt was right, every guy thinks that catching a girl is the best acomplishment, but actually, catching the girl is the easy part, making her stay is the real accomplishment. i began to think, so maybe, my exes would have been really accomplished guys because they were able to make me stay for years. try to imagine, the shortest relationship that i have had was 5 months. the rest were years. wow, so these guys were really good ha? is that it?
with all these brainstorming thingy that i have done out of boredom, i come up with a little realization about love. call it corny but hey, if youre bored, you can do all sorts of stupid things. harharhar so here it is.
love is not just about putting a spark in the beginning. its about maintaining that spark til the end. just like courtship. its not just about courting a girl to make her yours, it is about courting her all throughout the relationship to make her stay and maintain the spark. yes, it is, girls may sometimes be very unreasonable, its a fact, they are a non understandable creature but they surely make every mans life worth waking up everyday.
